27-NOVEMBER-2024 - KEEPING HOPE ALIVE

THE MAIN THEME: HOW DO I GET TO WHERE I AM GOING?

TITLE: KEEPING HOPE ALIVE

Our quote for today’s devotional is:

Hope is the pillar that holds up the world." – African Proverb

Devotional:
Hope is a powerful force that sustains us even in the darkest times. Without hope, the world we know and live in would crumble. It is the ability to look out for the rainbow in the midst of the storm, to stand firm in the face of the fiercest challenges, that keeps us moving forward. Hope fuels our spirit and strengthens our resolve when all seems lost.

When we feel weighed down by life’s burdens, hope whispers that there is always a new day, a new opportunity, and a new beginning. It reminds us that the storms will pass, and on the other side lies growth, transformation, and renewal. As believers, our hope is not anchored in fleeting circumstances but rooted deeply in God’s promises—His faithfulness never fails. No matter what you are facing today, know that there is hope for your future because God holds it securely in His hands.

Here are a few reflective questions:

  1. In what areas of my life do I need to re-ignite hope?
  2. How has God shown Himself faithful in past situations that seemed hopeless?
  3. How can I share hope with others who are struggling?

LET US PRAY:
Lord, when I feel weary, remind me of the hope I have in You. Help me to cling to Your promises and to trust that You are always working for my good. Amen.

Please say these words of affirmation. Say them, mean them, own them and live them:

  • Hope will get me to where I am going.
  • My hope is alive and steadfast, anchored in God’s promises.
  • I trust that brighter days are ahead, even when I can’t see them yet.
  • I am filled with hope that empowers me to keep moving forward.

Do have a fulfilling day. Take good care of yourself and see you tomorrow!
