TITLE: BREAKING FREE FROM DOUBT

The bible verse for today’s devotional is: James 1:6 (NIV)

"But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.." 

 Devotional:
Doubt can creep into our hearts and minds, causing us to question our faith, our purpose, and even God’s presence. But we are called to stand firm in our belief, trusting in God's unchanging nature. Breaking free from doubt requires renewing our minds with the truth of God’s Word and reminding ourselves of His faithfulness. It’s time to let go of doubt and embrace the certainty that comes from a relationship with God - The knowledge of a good God and your acceptance of the beautiful plans he has for you is the recipe for overcoming doubt.

Here are a few reflective questions:

1. What doubts have been weighing me down lately?
2. How can I replace those doubts with the truth of God’s Word?
3. How has God proven Himself trustworthy in my life?

LET US PRAY:
Lord, forgive me for the times I have doubted You. Help me to stand firm in faith, trusting in Your promises even when my circumstances seem uncertain. Amen.

 Please say these words of affirmation. Say them, mean them, own them and live them:

• I release all doubts and trust fully in God’s plan for my life.
• My faith is stronger than my fears; I walk in confidence.
• I am rooted in the truth of God’s Word, which overcomes any uncertainty.
