The bible verse for today’s devotional is: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV)

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Have you ever felt out of place or like you don’t quite belong?

It’s a common feeling, especially when you're growing up and trying to figure out where you fit in. That’s where finding your "tribe" comes in. Your tribe is the group of people who love you, support you, and help you become the best version of yourself.

The bible teaches the importance of community and friendship.

Today's Bible reference reminds us that we aren’t meant to do life alone. We need people who will pick us up when we fall, encourage us when we are down, and celebrate our successes. 

But finding your tribe isn’t just about finding friends who make you feel good. It’s about surrounding yourself with people who share your values, support your faith, and help you stay on track. These are the people who will walk with you through both the highs and the lows of life.

Finding the right tribe requires intentionality. By praying for the right friends and being open to new relationships that align with God’s purpose for your life, you can find your own tribe.

Here are a few reflective questions: 

• What qualities do I look for in friends? 

• Are these qualities aligned with God’s vision for my life?

• How can I be a better friend to the people in my tribe

Let us pray:

Lord, I thank You for the gift of friendship and community. Help me to find my tribe. Give me the wisdom to choose the right friends and the courage to let go of relationships that are not healthy in Jesus' name, Amen.
