TITLE: EVERYONE MATTERS

The bible verse for today’s devotional is: Philippians 2:3 (NIV)

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves."

Devotional:
In our journey through life, it’s tempting to prioritize relationships that seem beneficial to us while neglecting or overlooking others. But God’s word reminds us that everyone matters. Each person we encounter is created in God’s image, with inherent worth and value.

Jesus showed us the ultimate example of valuing others, whether it was dining with sinners, healing the outcasts, or washing His disciples' feet. Following His example, we are called to embrace humility, recognize the value in others, and extend love, kindness, and respect to all.

This doesn’t mean everyone will walk closely with us on our journey, but it does mean acknowledging their importance. When we treat others as significant, we reflect Christ’s love and invite His grace into our relationships.

Here are a few reflective questions:

• Am I treating everyone I encounter as someone valuable to God?
• How can I extend love and kindness to someone I might have overlooked?
• Do I prioritize humility in my interactions, or am I motivated by selfish ambition?

Let Us Pray:
Lord Jesus, thank You for teaching me that there is value in every person. Help me to see others as You see them—with love, kindness, and respect. Teach me to walk in humility, honoring the worth of everyone I encounter. Let my life be a reflection of Your love and grace. Amen.

• I honor and value every person God places in my path.

• I reflect God’s grace in my relationships and interactions.
• I am a vessel of Christ’s love to the world around me.
