TITLE: FAMILY AS YOUR FIRST TEAM
The bible verse for today’s devotional is: Mark 3:25 (NIV)
If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
Devotional:
Family is God’s foundational design for community. Long before you build friendships or partnerships, your family is the first team God places you in. They are meant to be your support system, your encouragers, and your accountability partners. While families are not perfect, they are a gift from God, designed to nurture and shape us.
In Mark 3:25, Jesus reminds us that division weakens any household. Unity within a family is key to its strength and ability to weather life’s storms. When families support each other, they become a safe haven and a launchpad for fulfilling God’s purpose.
Even in situations where family dynamics are strained, you can still choose to foster love, forgiveness, and prayer. As members of God’s family, we are called to be peacemakers, bridge-builders, and advocates for unity.
Who you go with begins at home. Start by nurturing and investing in the relationships within your family. Pray for them, support them, and trust God to strengthen those bonds.

- How can I contribute to unity and love within my family?
- Are there unresolved issues in my family that need forgiveness and healing?
- How has God used my family as my first team to shape my life and purpose?
Let Us Pray:
Lord, thank You for placing me in a family where I can learn, grow, and love. Help me to see my family as my first team and teach me how to contribute to its unity and strength. Heal any divisions or pain in my family, and guide us to walk in love and understanding. Amen.
