"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Devotional:
Ethan was a natural leader at school and often found himself in the spotlight. One day, his classmates asked him to organize a party during exam week. He knew it wasn’t the right time, but he feared disappointing his friends. That evening, while reading the story of Joshua, who boldly declared, “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15), Ethan realized he needed to put God first. He decided to skip the party planning and focus on his studies. Though some friends were upset, Ethan felt peace knowing he had chosen wisely.

When you put God at the center of your choices, He will guide and bless you, even if others don’t understand.

Here are a few reflective questions:

1. What does it mean to make God the center of your choices? 
2. How can your decisions today impact your future?

Father, help me to seek You first in all my decisions. Let my life honor You in every way. Amen.
