THE MAIN THEME: CHANGING YOUR WORLD
TITLE: LIVING WITH COURAGE AND INTEGRITY
Our bible verse for today’s devotional is: Micah 6:8 (NIV)
"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
Devotional
Living with courage and integrity means doing the right thing even when no one is watching. It’s about standing firm in your values and making choices that align with God’s truth. Sometimes, doing what is right feels difficult or unpopular, but true courage is choosing integrity over convenience. Just like Daniel in the Bible, who remained faithful to God even in a foreign land, we are called to walk humbly and uphold justice.
Living with integrity makes you a light in the darkness, showing others that honesty and kindness are possible. Courage helps you to stand firm, and integrity keeps your heart aligned with God’s will. Remember, your actions speak louder than words, and they can inspire others to live truthfully, too.
Here are a few reflective questions:
- What does courage mean to you?
- How can you show integrity in your daily life?
- Have you ever faced a situation where doing the right thing was difficult? How did you handle it?
- Who inspires you to live with courage and integrity?
Let us pray:
Dear Lord, thank You for showing me what is good. Help me to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You. Give me the courage to stand firm in my values and always choose integrity. Amen.
Please say these words of affirmation after me. Say them, mean them, own them, and live them:
- I walk in integrity every day.
- I am courageous in making the right decisions.
- My actions reflect God’s love and truth.
- I am a light to those around me.
Living with courage and integrity sets you apart as a person of character. Keep standing strong and trusting God. I'll see you tomorrow!
